Our Custom Tailored Uniform is made to your measurements making it the ultimate in comfort, style, and craftsmanship for a perfect fit. Please follow these instructions to order above.
First, write your Height in Centimeters, then your Weight in Kilograms, and then your Actual Waist size for trousers that you currently wear.
Second, choose the fabric weight that you desire:
NST Ultralight weight 50% / 50% poly-cotton blend (+$10.00)
BSI Medium weight 70% / 30% poly-cotton blend (+$24.00)
TAW Medium weight #11 10oz cotton canvas (+$30.00)
SSA Medium weight 60% / 40% poly-cotton blend (+$36.00)
TSA Heavy weight #10 12oz cotton canvas (+$44.00)
Third, supply the 11 uniform measurements in centimeters from the diagram above.
Fourth, choose a label.
Fifth, you can choose to add your karate style's chest embroidery, including your own if not pictured here, or a sewn on patch. You can also choose to add your name or karate style name in English or Japanese in Embroidery fields #1, #2, and #3 as you wish.
Custom Embroidery
Tokaido Japan provides the highest quality embroidery in Japanese or English. No company can surpass the level of embroidery perfected by Tokaido. You may choose to embroider your style name and/or your personal name. For Japanese text, please select from the pop up menus by clicking on the Kanji Style Names or the Names in Japanese Katakana below the field that you desire. If your Style or Name is not in the menu then use this Google Translate link https://translate.google.com/#en/ja/ to CREATE and then COPY and PASTE into the field(s) you desire. We will confirm that the translation is correct before production. If you prefer English/Roman letters, then type directly in the field(s) of your choice.
Production Time
The Custom Tailored Uniform require 8 weeks for production.

Custom Made Gi
I received my order for a custom made Gi ahead of schedule. The communication process for the order was very good and they were most helpful with all of my requests. The Gi is top quality , embroidery is second to none. Above all the Gi fits perfect, no excess material which makes the Gi much more comfortable to wear . I would highly recommend. The perfect karate gi
Hi, This is not the first gi I purchase from Tokaido. Previously I had the TSA and TAW gi's. All top notch!! Now for the first time a custom tailored gi. This is the perfect karate gi for anyone who cares about top quality. Especially the custom tailored version, that is perfectly sized and very comfortable. The embroidery is beautifully done,and the gi feels very sturdy yet soft on the skin.Also thanks to the team at Tokaido for carrying out my special requests. Very happy and would highly recommend. Absolutely Perfect
Being tall and very slim I have never been able to find a gi that fits. I decided to order a custom gi and it is perfect! The TSA fabric is exceptional and the embroidery is beautiful. Best decision I ever made
If you're thinking about ordering a custom gi I recommend you do it. I've been training for decades and always thought about getting a tailored gi but thought that it really wouldn't make that much difference. I figured just roll up the pants and jacket sleeves and everything is cool. After putting on my custom gi and training in it I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference. You don't realize how binding and less comfortable an off the shelf gi is when training until you train in a custom gi. Super happy and would highly recommend. The service at Tokaido is top notch.

Be careful with your measurements!
I ordered my first custom gi and was excited to receive it. When it arrived I was shocked at the tiny size of it, at first I thought I had been scammed. My measurements were in inches not centimeters, totally my fault. I now have a doll sized gi that I will never use unfortunately. Please learn from my error and give required dimensions in metric not US Imperial system inches. Sad face......If anyone needs a gi for a doll I have one that I will sell for cheap, lol.
