The JKA拳 Fist Protector will ensure added safety in "sundome" or "no contact" kumite matches.
JKA competitors strive to control their techniques with proper "kime" or "focus" by stopping just before impacting the target. Although no contact is an objective, the JKA Fist Protector will give an added level of safety to sundome kumite.
Made of cotton with a synthetic leather covering secured by elastic velcro straps for comfort and control.
This JKA Fist protector is required for all JKA sanctioned kumite events.

Nearly unexceptionable

The JKA fist protector, the product I bought, looks perfect in itself, nothing to say.
The only negative note I can report is about shipping which instead of the promised two weeks waiting for a mistake took nearly a month to be delivered.
However, due to the quality of the product, I will definitely order my product at Tokaido again. If not an Ippon they deserve a Wazari.

Purchased item for my daughter as a surprise for completions as old pair was worn out only to be suprised by the great quality of the product and the super customer service was informed all the way when it came to item dispatch. Only one downfall to the whole process was postage a little high
